& the borrowed band

After a triumphant sold out solo show at Wee Bear Café last August, we're looking forward to another visit from Glasgow based songmeister JAMES EDWYN, this time accompanied by The Borrowed Band. Along with a return to Wee Bear, we've added a date the following night at the wonderful Masonic Hall, Broughty Ferry, Dundee. The events will showcase songs from their most recent, and much lauded, album "Highlights Of The Low Nights" as well as airing classics from their rich back catalogue.

Following on from two critically acclaimed albums ('The Tower'- 2014 & 'High Fences'- 2018) the band are back with 'Highlights of the Low Nights' recorded and mixed by Paul Savage and consisting of 12 slices of alt-country, indie/folk rock and roots orientated Americana featuring the straight from the heart, gospel tinged single 'Sometimes We Fade' and the stunning Hammond driven single 'Hold On'. The album is out on limited edition vinyl and download.

James & The Borrowed Band will be performing at Wee Bear Café on Friday 24th March and The Masonic Hall on Saturday 25th March. Click ticket info link below.
